These medals helped Vietnam to rise to second place in the standing table.
The gold medalists included Quang Thi Thu Nghia in the women’s 75 kg, Le Thi Van Anh in the women’s 60kg, Ca Thi Minh in the women’s 80kg, Tran Thi Diep in the women’s 85kg, Nguyen Tan Sang in the men’s 80kg, Le Van Toan in the men’s +95 kg, Vu Duy Thanh in the men’s 60kg, and Le Ngoc Vu in the men’s 110 kg.
The martial artists competed in competitive fighting and artistic performances.
After the tournament the Vietnamese Pencak Silat team are scheduled to take part in several training courses before competing at the Senior Asian Pencak Silat Championship and World Pencak Silat Championship in late December.
