VietNamNet Bridge – The rival of Vietnamese national team at the first qualifier round of the World Cup 2014 will be Macau, which is said to be weak.

In Asia, the 16 teams at the bottom of the qualifier round of the World Cup 2010 early this week cast lots to choose their rival in the first qualifier round of the World Cup 2014. They will play the first and second leg games to choose eight winning teams, which will join the 22 best teams of the qualifier round of the World Cup 2010 in the second qualifier round.

Vietnam’s rival will be Macau. If Vietnam defeats Macau, it will face Qatar in the next round.

The Secretary General of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan said that Vietnam’s goal at the World Cup 2014 is advertising Vietnamese football (ability to organize football events and enthusiastic fans) through its games.
