They will conduct inspection at the ministries of Planning and Investment; Finance; Transport; Natural resources and Environment; Health; and Education and Training.
The inspection will also be implemented in Bắc Ninh and Đồng Nai provinces and Đà Nẵng City.
The work aims to evaluate State workers’ responsibilities for public service nationwide, especially in key industries with many pressing issues in solving administrative procedures, providing public services to people and businesses.
The inspectors will also recognise good and creative ways to have solutions that can be replicated throughout the country.
They will promptly detect shortcomings or violations and propose remedial measures.
The checking also aims to amend mechanisms and policies, enhance the sense of responsibility, and create changes in administrative discipline of leaders, staff and civil servants in performing public duties.
To make the inspection effective, the checking must ensure accuracy, not hinder the inspected units’ work and comply with the laws.
It also requires close coordination between the Government Inspectorate and the ministries and localities during the inspection process.
The inspection will be carried out within December.
The Government Inspectorate will give instruction to the ministries and localities on the inspection content, inspection period, and inspection objects.
Inspectors of ministries and localities, based on the guidelines and actual situations, create inspection teams and conduct inspections.
Local inspection plans must be applied to the Government Inspectorate for approval.
The inspection results must be sent to the Government Inspectorate before April 15 next year to report to the Prime Minister.
The Government Inspectorate will determine violations, causes for those shortcomings and propose measures to handle any cases of violations. — VNS
