Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed a decision assigning 27 members of the Government to lead working delegations with 34 provinces and centrally run cities to accelerate the implementation of the 14th National Party Congress Resolution and Government resolutions.

Government members will work directly with provincial and municipal authorities to oversee implementation, handle issues within their competence or propose solutions to higher authorities, remove difficulties and obstacles, promote production and business activities, and accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital.

They will also review progress in addressing long-standing, stalled, or problematic projects; the implementation of key projects that commenced in 2025; the rollout of national target programs; and the implementation of the two-tier local administration model.

Under the assignment plan:

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will work with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh will work with Quang Ngai and Lam Dong.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha will work with Ha Tinh and Quang Tri.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long will work with An Giang and Ca Mau.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc will work with Gia Lai and Dak Lak.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son will work with Phu Tho and Tuyen Quang.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung will work with Nghe An.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh will work with Tay Ninh.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung will work with Can Tho City and Vinh Long.

Minister of National Defence Phan Van Giang will work with Thai Nguyen.

Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang will work with Hung Yen.

Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Duc Thang will work with Dong Nai.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung will work with Hue City.

Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son will work with Ninh Binh.

Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh will work with Khanh Hoa.

Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong will work with Da Nang City.

Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang will work with Dien Bien.

Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh will work with Cao Bang.

Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung will work with Hai Phong City.

Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh will work with Dong Thap.

Minister of Ethnic and Religious Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung will work with Thanh Hoa.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung will work with Quang Ninh.

Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son will work with Lai Chau.

Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan will work with Bac Ninh.

Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate Doan Hong Phong will work with Son La.

Acting Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung will work with Lang Son.

Government members are required to proactively develop working plans and organize delegations to complete meetings with assigned localities before March 8. They must report to the Prime Minister on the content and outcomes of the meetings, clearly analyzing the causes of difficulties and obstacles and proposing recommendations where necessary.

The Prime Minister has requested chairpersons of provincial and municipal People’s Committees to urgently prepare reports and submit them to the assigned Government members before March 3 to serve the working sessions.

Ministries and central agencies whose ministers or heads are assigned to lead the working delegations must report the results to the Prime Minister before March 10 and simultaneously send them to the Ministry of Finance for consolidation.
