Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed a decision assigning 27 members of the Government to lead working delegations with 34 provinces and centrally run cities to accelerate the implementation of the 14th National Party Congress Resolution and Government resolutions.
Government members will work directly with provincial and municipal authorities to oversee implementation, handle issues within their competence or propose solutions to higher authorities, remove difficulties and obstacles, promote production and business activities, and accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital.
They will also review progress in addressing long-standing, stalled, or problematic projects; the implementation of key projects that commenced in 2025; the rollout of national target programs; and the implementation of the two-tier local administration model.
Under the assignment plan:
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will work with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh will work with Quang Ngai and Lam Dong.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha will work with Ha Tinh and Quang Tri.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long will work with An Giang and Ca Mau.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc will work with Gia Lai and Dak Lak.
Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son will work with Phu Tho and Tuyen Quang.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung will work with Nghe An.

Acting Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung will work with Lang Son.
Government members are required to proactively develop working plans and organize delegations to complete meetings with assigned localities before March 8. They must report to the Prime Minister on the content and outcomes of the meetings, clearly analyzing the causes of difficulties and obstacles and proposing recommendations where necessary.
The Prime Minister has requested chairpersons of provincial and municipal People’s Committees to urgently prepare reports and submit them to the assigned Government members before March 3 to serve the working sessions.
Ministries and central agencies whose ministers or heads are assigned to lead the working delegations must report the results to the Prime Minister before March 10 and simultaneously send them to the Ministry of Finance for consolidation.
