At the tournament in France, Ha Thanh did not record good results in this category, but Hanoi’s male gymnast was highly appreciated by referees. With high confidence, Ha Thanh decided to raise the difficulty of his performance at the competition in Germany, though this is not his forte.

After an unsuccessful exercise of horse jumping, Ha Thanh did the parallel bar exercise. He made a series of precise movements before landing neatly. With the outstanding performance, Ha Thanh won the gold medal in this category, with a very high score of 15.375. The silver medal winner is Vasileios Tsolakidis of Greece with 15.300 points.

The Challen Cup was held in Cottbus of Germany from March 21 to 24. The event had the participation of the world's top athletes. Ha Thanh is the only athlete of Vietnam who was invited by the tournament’s organizers.

With one silver and one gold medal at the two prestigious tournaments, Ha Thanh now has a very impressive manner. This is the reward for the great effort of Hanoi’s man. For more than 10 years as a gymnast, Ha Thanh got a lot of injuries and until the 26th SEA Games in 2011, he won his first regional medal.

After Nguyen Ha Thanh, female gymnast Phan Thi Ha Thanh will compete at the Challen Cup in Doha, Qatar from March 27 to 29.
