VietNamNet Bridge – Two young musicians from Viet Nam and Norway will perform at two special concerts to celebrate 40 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries at the Ha Noi Opera House on November 25-26.
Violinists Do Phuong Nhi, 13, and Ludvig Gudim, 12, will be accompanied by artists from the Viet Nam National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Norwegian conductor Alf Richard Kraggerud.
They will also perform the two countries' national anthems, as well as Do Hong Quan's Dang Rong Len (Rising Dragon) and compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach and Johan Svendsen.
Both of the young artists learnt the violin at the early age of four. Nhi currently studies at the National Academy of Music, while Gudim is a student at the Norwegian Barrat Due Institute of Music.
