VietNamNet Bridge – Cultural activities focusing on heritage and its preservation will be organised in Ha Noi to celebrate the 7th Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Day, which falls on November 23.

This year the county's northern and central regions are in the spotlight, with the event featuring the participation of delegates from Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue provinces and Ha Noi.

The cultural week will take place from November 21 to 23 at the Viet Nam Culture and Arts Exhibition Centre, 2 Hoa Lu Street, Ha Noi.

Performers will present traditional music and dances, folk games, handicrafts and calligraphy from their localities. A photo exhibition at the centre will highlight Vietnamese heritage, landscapes, history and culture from each province and city.

Heritage Day activities will be held in Ha Noi from November 21 to 23 and include cuisine and specialities from the northern and central provinces at a fair promoting tourism and culture of participating provinces.

Ha Noi's Old Quarter will be the venue for a series of cultural activities starting from tomorrow (November 18) to enhance people's awareness of traditional culture and heritage values of the capital city's historical precinct. Vietnamese tea culture will also be introduced at the centre for Old Quarter Information at 28 Hang Buom Street.
