VietNamNet Bridge – Ha Noi-based football club T&T will don Kappa sportswear in the V-League as of next week, the team's managing board said.

The move comes after the team signed a three-year contract with Hoang Phuc international company – the country's distributor of Kappa sportswear – on Saturday.

The Hanoian team, which won both the V-League title and the National Super Cup last year, is the first in Viet Nam to gain outfit sponsorship with the famous brand.

In 2008, the national team of Viet Nam inked a US$5-million contract with Nike.

The Viet Nam Football Federation awarded Song Lam Nghe An football team VND200 million (US$10,000) in cash after the team qualified for the knockout round of the Asian Football Confederation Cup last week.

The team secured top place in Group F to progress into the competition's second round for the first time in their history.

The team, who currently top the V-League, will meet Indonesia's Persipura Jayapura in the knock-out round.
