VietNamNet Bridge – Ha Noi T&T's Le Cong Vinh has won the player of the month award for June. He scored in three consecutive games to help his club go undefeated through the month.

This season, only Nghe An-born Vinh and Dinh Tung of Thanh Hoa have overcome foreign players to win the individual monthly award.

Defending champions Ha Noi T&T's exploits also helped chief coach Phan Thanh Hung win the award for best coach.

In June, Binh Duong, Song Lam Nghe An, Ha Noi T&T and SHB Da Nang all hit form, but team of the month went to Binh Duong for their 100 per cent record.

Goal of the month went to striker Tang Tuan of Hoang Anh Gia Lai for his strike in the 90th minute against Ha Noi T&T.

Vinh joined Portugal's Leixoes on a short-term loan contract in 2009.

The 26-year-old set a record four-year contract transfer fee of US$400,000 when he moved from Song Lam Nghe An to T&T Ha Noi in 2008.

Vinh took the Gold Ball as the best footballer in 2004-05-07 but has not been the premier championship's top scorer. He is fondly remembered for his dramatic late goal which gave Viet Nam the AFF Suzuki Cup from arch rivals Thailand in 2008.
