The win helped the team leap out of the relegation zone to ninth spot, with 19 points from 16 matches.


Despite the loss, Song Lam Nghe An still lead the championship with 35 points, four points clear of second placed Da Nang, who edged past Dong Thap 2-1 yesterday.
