VietNamNet Bridge – A cruel domestic violence case has been reported in the port city of Hai Phong. An 11-year-old boy has been tortured and even forced to eat human feces by his father.
The boy, Bui Xuan Thuan, lost his mother when he was six. Being abandoned by his father, Bui Xuan Phong, 33, the boy lived with his grandmother. After getting married the third time, the father unexpectedly took his son home. Living with his father and step mother, the boy was beaten by electric wires and forced to eat feces .

Thuan’s paternal grandmother, Nguyen Thi Dun, 61, from An Duong district, Hai Phong city, said that Thuan was beaten by his father very often. She tried to dissuade his son but Phong neglected. This man said that was the way he taught his son and threatened to stab her if she kept putting him off. Phong’s neighbors tried to stop him from beating his son but they failed.

The case was broken out when Thuan’s teacher detected serious wounds on the boy’s arms on October 11. The teacher and Thuan’s grandmother took the boy to the local police station, where the boy told terrifying secrets about his father’s “teaching method.”

According to Thuan, on October 6, he was playing games on the cell phone of his uncle when his father unexpectedly arrived home. The boy was so scared so he did not quickly lay the cell phone to the place where he had taken it, but throwing it at the part house. After that the uncle looked for the cell phone and asked whether Thuan took it. The boy lied that he did not know about it. Seeing the phone at the part house, Phong knew immediately that Thuan put it there. The man grew angry. Phong forced his son to take off clothes and beat him by a piece of electric wire. The boy’s body is now dense with wounds.
“My father beat me very often, by electric wires or sticks. He hit on my body, my head…” the boy said.

According to Thuan, his father once punished Thuan by beating him and confining him in the toilet. He told Thuan’s younger brother to take a bowl of feces  and forced Thuan to eat. However, a neighbor tried his best to stop the cruel father so the boy did not have to eat that bowl of feces . Thuan said that the step mother also beat him very often.
The boy has lived with his grandmother since the cruel case was denounced. His father was very angry and he tried to “hunt” the boy to force him come back to his house. Mrs. Dun and Thuan have to hide at their relatives’ home.

Local chief police officer Bui Van La told HCM City Law Newspaper that the case will be investigated.
