VietNamNet Bridge - On November 6, the Director of Hai Phong City Police Agency decided to strip the title of People's Police of Vu Van Quynh, 23, a police officer of Tien Lang town, for committing obscene actions against schoolgirls.

Quynh was arrested the same day for investigation.

The director also sent a working team of 12 police officers of the social-order related criminal investigation division to collaborate with the Tien Lang District Police to investigate the case.

On November 3, people in Ngoc Khanh hamlet, Tien Lang district, detected a suspicious man who used to sexually harass several female students in Tien Minh and Quang Minh hamlets on the way to and from school.

A local man named Cao Van Hoan kicked on this young man’s motorbike, making him fall into a canal, and called for local resident to seize the man.

Hoan accused the young man of having lewd behavior with his daughter, 15, at about 12 pm on August 17, on her way from home to school. That day, Quynh fled when he was detected by Hoan.

Since then, Hoan had to take her daughter to school every day. On November 3, Hoan saw the same man, so he called people for seizing him.

At the police station of Tien Lang district, four other girls between 12 and years old said that the suspicious man was the young man with lewd behavior against them at noon of different days, in the same road from their home to school.

The case has been transferred to the Hai Phong Police Agency for investigation.

The case is being further clarified.
