VietNamNet Bridge - Hanoi has grossed over VND1 billion (nearly $50,000) from the auction of timber from trees that were cut down on the roads of Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Giang Vo and Nguyen Chi Thanh.

The auction was held on July 23, selling three batches of timber totaling nearly 300 m3. The auction winner is a private company.
The remaining timber from felled trees in Hanoi will be auctioned later this month.
