The cycle lane designated for cyclists will be designed on the road along the To Lich river, stretching from Nga Tu So market in Thanh Xuan district to Cau Giay district.

The lane will take shape on the existing walking path along the To Lich river with a length of 2,300m and a width of 4m. It is to connect with Lang station of the Cat Linh - Ha Dong urban metro line and station No. 8 of the Nhon - Hanoi metro line.

The construction of the cycle lane on this route will create connectivity with bus routes through 6 stops on Lang street.

It is expected that the Hanoi Department of Transport will put this dedicated bicycle route into operation as of February 1, 2024. Bicycles will be allowed on two-way cycle tracks adjacent to the To Lich river, while people will walk in the lane adjacent to Lang street.

Along the route, there are six public bicycle stations, including one in front of the University of Transport gate and one at Lang station.

The agency that operates the public bicycle rental service says that it will add about 100 regular and electric bicycles to serve the travel need of people.
