Around 10 p.m., officers patrolling the Thanh Trung – Ly Thanh Tong road noticed a young man riding a motorbike with suspicious behavior and conducted a traffic stop. During questioning, the suspect confessed to storing several firearms and bullets at his residence.

Upon searching the residence, authorities confiscated:

One homemade metal gun
One rifle fitted with a scope
One revolver-style firearm
100 metal bullets

The suspect was identified as N.Đ.H., born in 2009, residing in Hanoi. He told officers that he had purchased the weapons and ammunition via social media platforms.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the full scope of the suspect's actions, including the source of the weapons and whether the teen was connected to any other illegal activities.

This case raises further concerns over the ease of access to illegal firearms online, especially among minors.
