On the evening of September 29, a C08 representative confirmed that, in addition to two AI cameras already in use on Pham Van Bach Street (Cau Giay District), a new pilot camera system was installed on Le Van Luong Street.

Specifically, one AI camera placed outside No. 35 Le Van Luong (Thanh Xuan District) recorded 29 violations between 12 p.m. on September 28 and 12 p.m. on September 29, all involving cars encroaching on the BRT lane.

During the same period, the two AI cameras on Pham Van Bach Street captured 239 cases of motorcyclists not wearing helmets, 169 cases of drivers running red lights, and two cases of vehicles traveling in the wrong direction.

The C08 representative noted that all recorded violations have been transferred to Hanoi Police for processing in accordance with the law.

Earlier, on September 24, C08 officially launched a pilot project to install AI-based traffic monitoring cameras in Hanoi. Data extracted from the Pham Van Bach system revealed that, in just 12 hours (from midnight to noon on September 24), the cameras detected 1,798 traffic violations.
