This is a collection of documents to raise awareness, equip children with the necessary knowledge, skills, and tools, the content that can be considered a "digital vaccine" so that children can protect themselves and develop in a safe and healthy way in the online environment.

The "Comics about protecting children in the online environment" is a communication document produced by the UNICEF in collaboration with the Department of Children, of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

The book "Civilized Digital Citizen" is a project jointly implemented by Google.org and CFC Vietnam with the goal of raising awareness for 1 million Vietnamese teenagers about digital responsibility. The book "Code of Conduct on the Internet" is designed for children from 6 to 11 years old with many vivid illustrations, concise, easy-to-understand information to help children answer questions about actions, grasp the rules of behavior when growing up.

Previously, in order to strengthen the protection and support of children in healthy and creative interactions on the Internet and social networks, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 830/QD-TTg dated June 1, 2021, requiring 100% of elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and child protection and nurturing facilities to periodically organize propaganda programs and educate children on necessary knowledge and skills to participate in a safe online environment.

The Hanoi People's Committee has assigned the Department of Information and Communications to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to effectively implement the above plan to achieve the set goals and tasks.

In addition, the Hanoi Department of Information and Communications is responsible to coordinate with the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and relevant agencies to direct and guide Hanoi’s press agencies and grassroots information systems to propagate the contents on protecting and supporting children to interact healthily and creatively in the online environment; strengthen state management, inspection and examination in the field of information and communication to proactively propagate, prevent, detect and handle acts of using the online environment to abuse children.

According to the Hanoi Department of Information and Communications, for children, the Internet is a channel providing knowledge, methods of learning, entertainment and social interaction, but this environment also has many dangers and risks for children. Therefore, propagating and raising children's awareness about safe use of the Internet and social networks is very important.
