Despite attending a small, local school, Anh ranked highly in Hanoi on the 2025 high school entrance exam. She scored a total of 26.75 points (Literature 8.75, Math 9.25, Foreign Language 8.75), earning admission to the literature-major class at Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted and Thang Long High School.

The student demonstrated her ability for literature by gaining admission to three gifted high schools: HUE’s High School for the Gifted, Specialized School for Social Sciences and Humanity and Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted.

Anh excelled as the runner-up in the literature test during the entrance exam for the Hanoi University of Education;s (HUE) Specialized Pedagogy, one of the nation’s top specialized schools. 

“These achievements are not only a source of pride for Anh and her family, but also an honor for Tan Dinh Secondary School,” said Principal Tran Thi Quynh Van.

Anh’s greatest passion is literature. She not only studies diligently, but also has a relentless curiosity, exploring every sentence in literary works.

She demonstrated a thirst for deepening her knowledge of the subject from her early years in secondary school. In seventh grade, when Tan Dinh Secondary School began running clubs for high-achieving students, Anh promptly joined the literature club.

Her efforts were rewarded with an impressive academic record. From sixth to ninth grades, she consistently earned the title of outstanding student. She maintained an average score above 9 in most subjects.

In 7th grade, Anh won first place in the school-level academic competition for excellent students in literature, and second place at the district level. 

In 8th grade, she secured first place at the school level and third place at the district level. In 9th grade, she showcased exceptional performance, earning first place at the district level and a consolation award at the city-level academic competition.

Teachers at the school noted that Anh shines not only through her outstanding academic achievements but also through her admirable character. She has won the affection of friends and teachers with her kind, gentle, and responsible personality.

Besides academics, Anh is a prominent figure at Tan Dinh Secondary School with many talents, such as writing poetry, drawing, and beautiful handwriting. She also actively participates in the school’s extracurricular activities.

Anh plans to study at HUE’s Specialized Pedagogy for her high school years, a step to her dream of becoming a literature teacher.
