The 10ha project will cover Van Phuc and La Khe wards in Ha Dong District and Dai Mo Ward in Nam Tu Liem District.
The project includes two independent functional areas, the park and the cemetery.
The park is expected to help meet the local residents' demand for entertainment and cultural activities, while the cemetery is expected to meet the demand for modern and civilised funeral services.
The municipal department of planning and architecture will prepare the detailed planning for the project in six months in accordance with the construction standards of Viet Nam and other regulations.
The project is part of the city's cemetery planning till 2030 with a vision towards 2050, which was approved by the Prime Minister.
