The event will be jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMYU)’s Central Committee, the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth, and the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).

According to the HCMYU Central Committee, on the first day of the forum, participants will have a plenary session themed “the Francophone community in Asia-Pacific: cross-cutting perspectives”, and symposiums on different topics, including business start-up and career integration opportunities of young French-speakers in Asia-Pacific, sustainable tourism in the region, employment opportunities in digital technology, IT and communications, and start-ups in the French-speaking environment.

On the second day, they will share viewpoints on leadership, emotional intelligence, and professional and intercultural communication skills, while participating in activities to experience the Vietnamese culture and visiting landscapes and historical sites in Hanoi.

On the last day, the organising board will launch a project development training programme to ensure trainees’ capacity to participate in funds and projects of relevant organisations and sponsors by 2025.

Within the framework of the forum, delegates will also have an opportunity to take part in producing publications to be introduced at the Francophone Summit taking place in Paris.

The forum is expected to contribute to maintaining and promoting youth and student cooperation in the Francophone community, while demonstrating Vietnam's role as an active member.

It will be a chance for Vietnamese students and youngsters to connect with their peers from other countries and introduce the culture, tradition, and potentials of Vietnam as well as the country’s achievements after nearly 40 years of “Doi Moi” (Renewal).

The forum expects 60 delegates who are outstanding young figures from Vietnam and OIF member countries in Asia-Pacific. It will also draw 10 international and Vietnamese experts and lecturers./. VNA
