VietNamNet Bridge – Artisans from dozens of villages will participate in an annual festival that celebrates cultural values of villages, Deputy Director of Ha Noi Culture and Sports Department Truong Minh Tien said.

The festival will also enhance co-operation in tourism between travel companies in Ha Noi and other localities.

Artisans from villages in 14 cities and provinces will showcase their skills in making ceramic and bamboo products, weaving, embroidery and traditional paintings, besides wood carving, bronze sculpture and paper making at the festival.

Various programmes such as processions that praise handicraft villages' ancestors, folk games and the showcasing of culinary art of localities will be organised.

The festival will be held at Quan Ngua Stadium, 30, Van Cao Street, Ba Dinh District, Ha Noi, from October 7 to 11.
