The Wernigerode Youth Choir from Germany will have two concerts at Hanoi’s Tuoi Tre Theatre on November 10th and 11th.

 

The Wernigerode Youth Choir consists of 35 singers between 15 and 18 years old and performs under choir master Peter Habermann, who is well respected in the German music scene.

 

The Choir will perform folk and modern German songs, as well as folk songs from France, Russia, the United States and Japan, to bring the audience a varied international program.

 

Since its founding in 1951, the Wernigerode choir has recorded over 30 CDs and has been awarded the title of ‘Best German Choir.’

 

The concerts, organized by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Goethe-Institute Hanoi, are part of Germany Year in Vietnam.

 

The concert will start at 7pm at 11 Ngo Thi Nham Street. Tickets are free and can be found at the Goethe-Institute Hanoi.
