Around 60 souvenir stalls will be set up along the street.

According to Nguyen Dinh Khuyen, vice chairman of Tay Ho District People’s Committee, Trinh Cong Son Street will be pedestrianised from August 19.

An outdoor stage will be installed at the street to serve art performance, including music shows about Trinh Cong Son’s songs as well as traditional music such as folk songs and puppetry.

Around 60 souvenir stalls, which are designed to imitate Hanoi’s Old Quarter and Hoi An town as well as regional culture, will be set up along the street.

The street opens from 7:30 on between Friday and Sunday.

Hanoi also plans to pedestrianise Nguyen Quy Duc Street in Thanh Xuan District.
