VietNamNet Bridge – Hanoi’s female team triumphed at the National Boxing Clubs Cup which finished in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on Saturday.

The team brought home three golds, two silvers and four bronzes. The Hanoian gold medallists are Asian champion Nguyen Thi Tam in the women’s 51kg, Nguyen Thi Thanh Thom in the 54kg category, and Nguyen Thi Huong in the 81kg division.

An Giang finished second with one gold, two silvers and two bronzes, while Hai Phong came third with one gold and a silver.

On the men’s side, Dak Lak topped the medal tally with two golds, one silver and three bronzes, followed by Da Nang and HCM City.

The event featured nearly 200 male and female boxers from 48 clubs in 34 cities and provinces across the country, competing in 22 weight categories.

The tournament was organised by the Viet Nam Boxing Federation and the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
