VietNamNet Bridge – At 6-9pm on October 4, candles were lit up by hundreds of students and people at the premises of the house No. 30 Hoang Dieu Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi to commemorate the second death anniversary of the legendary general.



 



 

 




 

 



Mr. Nguyen Khac Hien from Cau Giay District and his 5-year-old son joined young people to lit up candles. 


 

 



Vu Minh Nhat, 8 and Vu Ngan Giang, 3, came with their parents. 


 

 



Nguyen Van Duy from the Irrigation University said he and his friends came to light candles on historic days such as Victory Day of Dien Bien Phu, the birthday and death anniversary of General Vo Nguyen Giap. 


 

 



 

 



The guards said hundreds of people came on these days to commemorate the General.

Mrs. Vo Hoa Binh, the General’s daughter, re-lit candles that were blown out by wind. The family members gathered inside the house.
