VietNamNet Bridge – The Ceramic Road is a big work to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi capital. This is also a world Guinness record. However, some people have taken advantage of the road to plant vegetables.

A Hanoi Park and Tree Planting Company’s official said that this situation was reported to local authorities but the situation was not improved. If workers planted grass, the next day people pulled up grass to grow vegetables again.

The Ceramic Road is 6,000m long, totaling around 6,500sq.m. The 6,000m painting was contributed by 20 Vietnamese artists, 15 international artists, 50 art students and 100 artisans. Materials came from famous ancient pottery villages of Vietnam like Bat Trang, Chu Dau and Phu Lang.
