The repair started after the Hanoi Department of Transport unexpectedly announced that the hole was caused by downpours.
Dozens of workers and a lot of machines were brought to the site. The Song Da Thang Long Corporation is responsible for filling up the hole.
The corporation’s director Tran Viet Son said the task would not be too sophisticated but it depends on the weather.
Nam Cuong Group, the investor of Le Van Luong Road, is assigned to prevent water to run to the hole and open a temporary road to serve traffic during the time of repair.
