Classical music was created in Europe in the 15th century. However, until the era of Baroque music, or the first phase of classical music in the early 17th century, important forms and styles of music had been unveiled to be backgrounds for later masterpieces. Joseph Haydn was a typical representative of this period. He was named the creator of symphonies and string quartet, two of the greatest genres of classical music. He has left a huge collection of 100 symphonies and over 40 concertos for different kinds of musical instruments and 14 operas and 68 pieces for string quartet, among others.

Johannes Brahms, a compatriot of Beethoven, was among outstanding composers of classical music during the 18th and 19th centuries. His artworks have strong structures that reflect the logical and critical features of classical music. Especially, it took Brahms 20 years to finish Symphony No. 1 in C Minor as he had to overcome himself and the shadow of Beethoven and the expectation of audiences to master this piece.

Tickets to the show are priced at VND550,000, VND400,000, VND350,000, VND200,000 and VND80,000 ( students only). For further information, contact Ms. Huong on 0989 874 517 or Ms. Huong Ly on 0903 604 539.
