After the request, eight households were moved to a safe location, and their houses are expected to be removed to reduce the weight burden on the land.

The People’s Committee said the local community should organise watch groups and rescue teams within these eroded areas.

The Department of Transport was asked to set up protection fences, warning signs and hazard maps.

Boats travelling along the Kinh Lo River must respect a speed limit to prevent erosion from waves.

There are more than 40 landslide-prone locations in the city, mostly in districts 2, 4, Thu Duc and Nha Be. Nha Be is the most severe.
