VietNamNet Bridge – During the summer, many children in HCM City usually group up at overpasses across big canals to jump down into the water. HCM City authorities have asked relevant agencies to stop this dangerous action.




In these days, Nhieu Loc-Thi Nghe and Tau Hu-Ben Nghe have become the favorite destinations of children, to avoid the heat.

However, many kids have played a dangerous game: jumping down into canals from overpasses. On May 25, a teen was drowned after taking such action.

This accident could not prevent kids from continuing this dangerous game. To deal with this latent danger, HCM City government has asked relevant agencies to give warnings to local children of the danger, to place fence and ban signs along canals and to patrol canals.
