From 4am to 10am on that day the stretch of Le Duan Street from Nam Ki Khoi Nghia to Pasteur streets will be off-limits to vehicles to also prepare for the 2018 Tet celebrations and 88th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Vehicles going from Nam Ky Khoi Nghia to Le Duan can take alternative routes through Alexandre de Rhodes and Pham Ngoc Thach or Han Thuyen and Pasteur.

In the reverse direction, they can go through Pasteur and Alexandre de Rhodes or Cong xa Paris and Han Thuyen.

The stretch of Nguyen Du street between Nguyen Trung Truc and Thu Khoa Huan will also be closed off to prepare for the opening of a memorial tablet honouring soldiers who died in the Tet Offensive.

Vehicles going along the one-way Nguyen Du Street can turn left into Nguyen Trung Truc and take  Le Thanh Ton, Truong Dinh, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Huyen Tran Cong Chua to get back into Nguyen Du.
