VietNamNet Bridge – HCM City's cycling team have found a new sponsor, VUS - Viet Nam USA Society English Centres to fund their activities.

"VUS's sponsorship amount is not much, but it is enough for us to cover the cyclists' salary, bonus as well as working regulations," said HCM City's head of cycling section Ngo Quang Vinh.

According to VUS Chairman Pham Tan Nghia, VUS is honoured to sponsor the municipal cycling team. He added that if the team's travels have good results, VUS will sponsor them for many more years.

Last year, the team's head coach Do Thanh Dat and several veteran cyclists such as Le Ngoc Thanh, Truong Nguyen Thanh Nhan and Huynh Mai Duy quit because of their low incomes.
