This is the starting show for a series of cultural exchange events between Vietnam and Italy.

Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and designer Minh Hanh presented silk scarves as gifts to Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Maria Tripodi, Director of Rome's Agency of Fashion, Tourism and Sports Alessandro Onorato.

Attending the program were Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang, Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Maria Tripodi, Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Duong Hai Hung, Director of Rome Department of Fashion, Tourism and Sports Alessandro Onorato, Chief Advisor to the President of Italy on foreign policy Fabio Cassese, and representatives of famous fashion brands in Italy.

The show was held at the world's first commercial center Mercati di Traiano. Vietnamese and Italian models catwalked on the 2,000-year-old walls.

Italian politicians and people admired 120 exquisitely hand-embroidered costumes, nearly 100 Vietnamese Ao dai designed by Minh Hanh. 

After the show, designer Minh Hanh met with Italian fashion business partners.
