According to the proposal, the night street will be open from 6 pm until midnight every day on a 450-metre section of Road 1.

With a total estimated investment of over VND23 billion, the night street will have 252 stalls selling foods, souvenirs, a 1,000-square-metre playground, a 5,000-square-metre square, and other facilities. It is expected that the night street project will bring a revenue of VND53 billion after five years, and profit of over VND25 billion.

Lying in Binh Hung Commune, Trung Son Residential Area borders districts 1, 5, 8, 7, and connects some districts of Nha Be, Can Gio, and some neighbouring Mekong Delta provinces. The area hosts spacious playgrounds and many good restaurants which have recently attracted lots of visitors at night.

There are currently seven night streets in HCM City including Bui Vien and Nguyen Hue in District 1, Ho Thi Ky and Quang Trung in District 10, Vinh Khanh in District 4, Hau Giang in District 6, and Nguyen Thuong Hien in District 3.
