The event will take place between April 21-24 at Van Thanh Tourist Site in Binh Thanh District. Around 40 booths of 40 hotels and resorts nationwide will participate in the festival. 

HCM City's food festival 2022

The decoration of the festival will feature cultures of the northern, central and southern regions.

The organising board will arrange mobile vehicles to serve food for around 6,000 people.

Roughly 350 dishes of regions will be offered at the event for visitors to enjoy.

At the festival, visitors will also enjoy folk games and can attend activities to introduce traditional handicraft villages.

Pham Huy Binh, chairman of Saigontourist Group, the event organiser, said this was among the activities to help promote Vietnamese culture to travellers.

Last year, this event was held in August and lured 30,000 visitors.

The festival was voted as the Asia's Best Culinary Festival 2022 by the World Culinary Awards in 2022.
