
There are six levels of competition including Baby (3-6 months), Puppy (6-9 months), Junior (9-18 months), Intermediate (15–24 months), Open (from 15 months) and Champion.
Jackie Perry and David Stracban are the jury for the FCI and All Breed shows and Le Tuan takes charge of the Phu Quoc show.
According to Cao Minh Kim Qui, one of the organizers, this year will see a huge increase in the numbers of dogs participating in the events and it will have the participation of numerous foreign exhibitors and dogs.
The organizers hope that the VKA will be acknowledged as the 85th member of the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI), the World Canine Organization.
The plan is for the contest to be held at Phan Dinh Phung Sports Club in District 3 but they are some hiccups in that department. So no official venue has been decided as yet.
The fees for national and international contests are VND200,000 and VND300,000 respectively. Registration forms should be applied to 188C Le Van Sy Street, Phu Nhuan District.
