VietNamNet Bridge – Ho Chi Minh City remains its top slot in the Vietnam E-commerce Index 2013 which was announced by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) in a ceremony in Hanoi on December 30.

According to VECOM Office Manager Nguyen Ky Minh, Ho Chi Minh ranks first with 68.4 points, followed by the capital city of Hanoi with 76.9 points.
He said e-commerce has developed firmly, penetrated into all business realms and attached to technology information and communications to become one of the pillars of information society building process.
The VECOM said up to 83 percent of enterprises have received email orders and 35 percent received orders via their websites.
The year 2013 saw 12 percent of enterprises get involve in e-commerce trading floors.
