According to the Center for Disease Control of HCM City (HCDC), on September 20, 102,593 people were vaccinated against Covid-19, bringing the total number to 8,876,463 people, including 2,100,826 people fully vaccinated with two vaccine doses.

According to the HCM City Department of Health, the city currently has 774,272 doses of vaccine, including 108,894 doses of AstraZeneca, 125,800 doses of Pfizer, and 539,578 doses of Sinopharm vaccines.

The city needs an additional 6,031,000 doses from September 20 to October 31, including 472,000 doses for people who need the first shot and 5,559,000 doses for people who need the second shot. Specifically, it needs 4,935,000 doses of AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccine, and 624,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine.

HCM City has sent a request for further vaccine allocations to the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology.
