An old book festival will be held at the 23/9 Park in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1 from March 3-5.
The event will display many precious books that can hardly be found in bookstores elsewhere of various genres such as literature, policy, society and more.
The book show will feature more than 20 stalls of 10 individuals and organizations involved in exchanging and trading old books nationwide, such as Ha Thanh, Vi Dan, Gia Khoa from Hanoi; Khai Vinh, Momo Books , Kim Dong Publishing House from Ho Chi Minh City and others.
The largest-ever old book show in the city will also include many activities, including exchanges between researchers and book collectors and readers; exhibition on precious books, seminar on old book collection, art performance and folk games.
Readers will have a chance to enjoy items up 50 percent off original prices and receive 2,000 free books from the organization board.
The event is co-organized by the Saigon Books and Sense Mart.
