The strategies will be divided into two phases, from September 15 to December 31, and 2022, and will consist of three parts: assessment of the situation; goals and solutions; and suggested policies under the authority of the central government and the municipal government.
Specifically, the HCM City Department of Health is assigned to preside over and give advice on strategies and plans for epidemic prevention and control, and social distancing.
The HCM City Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs is assigned to give advice on strategies and plans on social security.
The HCM City Department of Construction assumes the prime responsibility for, and gives advice, on strategies and plans on improving the quality of housing for workers and resource mobilization.
The HCM City Department of Planning and Investment is assigned to give advice on strategies and plans on economic recovery.
The HCM City Department of Information and Communications has the prime responsibility for, and will coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Industry and Trade, and the Department of Transport, in advising on information technology plans and communication plans.
The HCM City Police Agency assumes the prime responsibility and coordinates with the HCM City High Command to advise on strategies and plans on security, social order and safety.
The HCM City Research and Development Institute presides over and advises on strategies and plans for socio-psychological stabilization.
Based on the advice given by these agencies, the Policy Advisory Group is responsible for developing a common plan on the city’s Covid-19 prevention and control and economic recovery after September 15.

HCM City mulls Covid-19 green pass policy
Economic and medical experts in HCMC are in the process of studying and designing the Covid-19 green pass, said municipal chairman Phan Van Mai.
