VietNamNet Bridge – HCM City Power Company’s workers on June 24 rescued a monkey that was stuck on a high voltage poll on Cong Hoa Road, Tan Binh district.



Some witnesses said that they saw a monkey of around 10kg on an electric pole on Cong Hoa road at around 7am of June 24.

Dozens of curious people began to surround the poll to see the monkey. The animal began filling with terror. It hung on an electric wire and got shocked.

Seeing the monkey become weaker and weaker, nobody could approach him since the electric current was not interrupted. Someone called the power company.

The power firm sent a specialized vehicle and several workers to the site to rescue the animal. The electric current was broken and workers used a ladder truck to approach and rescue the monkey.

Locals fed the monkey and took care of him while waiting for relevant agencies.
