VietNamNet Bridge – HCM City have signed a 18-month contract with striker Vu Quang Nam of Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) to prepare for the second leg of the national premier league.

Nam, 24, was the best player of the international U21 football tournament in 2012 held in Ninh Thuan.

While playing for SLNA, Nam met injury and needed three years to recover. Recently, he only played for first-division teams Phu Yen and Hue.

In this year’s football season, Nam played well and scored goals for Hue. With his impressive performance, chairman of HCM City club Le Cong Vinh agreed to sign a contract with Nam.

Nam will join his new team to play against Gangwon FC of South Korea in a friendly match at Thong Nhat Stadium in HCM City on June 9.
