The fire occurred at 4pm, caused by sparks from the welding job of a worker who was making a cover for the air-conditioning system outside the studio.

It is said that the sparks shot into the roof of the studio. The fire caught quickly on foam and sound and light equipment ... and then flared up.

At that time, the 600 m2 studio was locked. There were only two guards outside.

More than 100 police officers and dozens of fire trucks were mobilized to extinguish the fire. When the fire fighters came, the fire covered the entire studio and threatened villas around. However, after only 15 minutes, the police stamped out the fire.

The fire caused no human casualties but the entire studio was burned down.

The welder was summoned for investigation, said Colonel Le Tan Buu, deputy director of HCM City Department of Fire-fighting Police.
