The new software will help management offices quickly gather information on manholes including the time of construction, their purpose, and warnings about new manholes and other related issues.

The software is expected to be put into operation in August.

Trung said the city had around 100 registered manholes and potentially another 50 that were discovered by ground penetrating radar equipment.
