The Hozo HCMC International Music Festival will be jointly organized by the municipal Department of Culture and Sports and the HCMC Music Center from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., December 13 through 15.
There will be a wide range of musical and cultural events on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street during the three-day festival, and an exchange program between the artists and students at Hoa Lu Stadium on December 14.
Huy Tuan, music director of the festival, said artists and bands from Russia, Australia, Spain, France, Japan, South Korea and India will perform not only modern music but also the traditional works of their countries.
Local artists joining the festival include Hoai Sa, Hong Kien, Anh Quan, Phan Thanh Tan, Thu Minh, Nguyen Le, and Vietnam Allstars Band and some others.
The festival will also comprise music seminars and introductions of musical instruments and sound devices. SGT
