A high-altitude fireworks show is scheduled to be set off at Saigon River Tunnel in District 2, while a low-range fireworks show is slated to take place at Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11. Each fireworks display will last for 15 minutes on New Year’s Eve.

Countdown parties will be launched at President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue pedestrian street from 8 pm on December 31.

Apart from this, from December 23 to January 1, 2024, HCM City will organise various activities to welcome the New Year 2024, including the inauguration of the Sunflower Park, paragliding and hot air balloon rides, food festivals and art performances.

Visitors can take a canoe service to enjoy fireworks at Tan Cang tourist area with a ticket price of VND499,000 for each person.

According to Hoang Van Ba, director of Dam Sen Cultural Park, visitors with birthdays in December or dressed in Christmas attire will enjoy free admission to Dam Sen Park and a 50 percent discount on the full package ticket at Christmas and the New Year.
