Water performances will be held on a nightly basis at the Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street in HCM City.
The water fountain has a lotus shape and was put into operation in October.
The water fountain which cost VND20bn (USD863m) at Nguyen Hue-Le Loi intersection will be turned into an attraction in a play of light and music as water shows will be held from 5.30 pm to 11 pm daily. The shows will start at 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Depending on the situation, the music will be turned off early and visitors can still enjoy silent shows so as not to disturb tourists and local people living nearby. The water show will be halted if there is another show held at Nguyen Hue Street.
The police, youth volunteers and the District 1 People's Committee will work together to ensure the security around the fountain and Ho Chi Minh Square.
In the near future, the local authorities will continue to upgrade Nguyen Hue pedestrian street like setting up more flower pots, benches, and rubbish bins. More flowers will especially be placed around the fountain and Ho Chi Minh Square. Dtinews
