Vietnam will join seven other teams at the 2012 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Women’s Championships to be held in Ho Chi Minh City from September 13-22. 



They are divided into two groups, with Vietnam, Myanmar Singapore and the Philippines in group A, and Thailand, Laos, Indonesia and Malaysia in group B.

They will compete in a round robin format to select the two group winners and runners-up for the semi-finals.

The host team Vietnam will play Singapore, while Myanmar will face the Philippines in the opening matches of the tournament.
