A show featuring female dancers in bikinis at Dam Sen Water Park on June 4.

Earlier, a video clip featuring four female dancers performing with loud music in front of many children at the park was posted on the internet on June 6.

Head of the park's marketing department, Nguyen Minh Thao, said that they have received lots of criticism from the public after the show and was very sorry for the offence caused.

"The show was part of new activities launched for summer which aimed at serving an increasing number of visitors to the park," Thao said. "We planned to organise this 30-minute show every Saturday and Sunday and the first one was held on June 4."

“We had also told the dancers not to perform offensive acts but they were still shouted down by the audience, especially parents with small children, he added.

We have realised that the show was not suitable for our customers who are mostly children and decided to stop it and replace with other activities including drawing competitions.
