The price is $3/ton higher than that set by other companies. The Vietnam Waste Treatment Co treats about 3,000 tons of waste per day.

The question is why?

This firm recently asked the city’s permission to increase its solid waste treatment capacity to 10,000 tons per day and to treat the entire solid waste of the city.

However, the city government did not allow it to raise capacity as it was afraid that the firm may dominate the market, affecting the competitiveness of other businesses.

On the other hand, the company did not build and operate a waste classification and recycling plant with a daily capacity of 2,500-3,000 tons, under the provisions of the previously granted investment license.
